A Little Bit Crafty UK is a family run business and was set up in September 2015, since then we have hand painted, glazed and kiln fired over 700 items of pottery and engraved and lasered over 40,000 items. Our team is made up of myself (Leah), my fiancé Dave, our son and daughter, who are our models!
For those that haven't been with us from the beginning we started off as a pottery painting business this was shortly after our son was born and I decided I didn't want to go back to full time work. When we decided we were ready for baby number 2 we realised that although we shared the work load (I painted the pottery and Dave was my kiln loader and delivery man) there was no way I was going to let him loose with my paints so we would have to close completely while I took maternity leave. This wasn't an option for us financially so we looked into other personalised gifts and keepsakes and as I love photographs the engraving was a natural product for us to look into.
We set up the engraving side of the business in October 2016 and it has gone from strength to strength. Since I returned from maternity leave at the end of 2017 we have both worked none stop to grow our business. With the engraving being so successful we decided that we would keep the pottery side of the business closed until further notice. It is something I would like to bring back in the near future.
In March 2019 we launched a brand new Laser engraved and cut range, this has been a successful range and one I have loved designing for and it is constantly being added to... so watch out for more products being added to the website!
In 2021 we were lucky enough to move into a larger office space so again we have expanded our range to include personalised backing cards and gift boxes which holds range or sterling silver earrings and necklaces.
